IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication.
IELTS is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), British Council and IDP : IELTS Australia. IELTS conforms to the highest international standards of language assessment.
It covers the four language skills i.e. Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
IELTS is recognized by universities and employers in many countries including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. It is also recognized by professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies.
Test Format:
IELTS exam is conducted both Online (CBT) and Offline (Pen & Paper Based) candidates must choose either the ACADEMIC or the GENERAL TRAINING IELTS Test.
Academic Test:
This Test is for individuals who plan to study in English at University (undergraduate or postgraduate level), and is designed to test the understanding and use of complex level academic language.
General Training:
This test is suitable for individuals requiring a more general level of English proficiency for Employment or Immigration purposes. Proficiency for Employment or Immigration purposes.
